Governmental program officers work for the operations branch of the regional or federal government’s in-person and regional points of service.

 

 

Typical Job Duties

• Accountable for the administration of the local or regional service office

• Provide first contact for customer service delivery

• Collect revenue at the location on behalf of the government

• Deliver cost-effective governmental services to citizens in an efficient and respectful manner

• Provide information to citizens regarding specific governmental programs
