Public Policy Planner Job Description

A Policy Planner is responsible for developing and evaluating a planning policy at a local or regional level. Policy planners work on developing local development frameworks and are involved with all policy areas including economics, land use and housing.

Typical Job Duties

• Review existing policies and procedures

• Provide suggestions for improvements

• Provide senior management with corrective measures with regards to dysfunctional processes

• Analyze strategic operational reports
