Weaver Job Description

Weavers use weaving techniques and equipment to manufacture material with different patterns, colours and textures out of loose threads.

Typical Job Duties

• Determine the exact quantity of yarn needed to fabricate a piece of material

• Use quantity of yarn used to determine thickness of material

• Use looms and floor looms to weave fabric

• Confer with management or client regarding quantity of a fabric needed
