A political organizer is hired by a political party in order coordinate the efforts of informing people within a general or specific region about the party’s platform and objectives.

Typical Job Duties

• Develop and maintain a visible political network

• Study demographic information related to the target area

• Build strong relationships with community leaders

• Develop and implement strategies regarding how to reach the most voters within a specified period of time

• May recruit, hire, train and supervise staff
