Recruiter Job Description

Recruiters are responsible for advertising and promoting job vacancies that exist within their company. Recruiters also assist in the evaluation process concerning applicants.

Typical Job Duties

• Liaise with department managers in order to be informed of any employment vacancies or newly created positions

• Create and distribute employment advertisements

• Recruit graduates of various academic institutions and programs by placing a booth at career fairs

• Collect and screen applications

• Notify applicants regarding the status of their application

• Advise department managers and employees of staffing policies and procedures

• Participate in the selection and evaluation of candidates
