A book review editor is responsible for managing the solicitation, acceptance and review process for books that are submitted to a publication.

 

 

Typical Job Duties

• Identify books that are appropriate for review

• Obtain review copies from publisher

• Identify potential reviewers and solicit book review submissions

• Liaise with the author of the book review

• Provide suggestions to the author regarding possible improvements to the book

• Consult with the Editor-in-Chief regarding the inclusion of the review in the publication
