David Davis Memorial Fund

About this Award: 

David Davis came to Hamilton in 1984 as a talented organist and choir director leading several choral groups in Hamilton and Burlington, including the Hamilton Children’s Choir, Canadian Orpheus Male Choir, Ars Antiqua and the choirs of Christ’s Church Cathedral and St. Luke’s Anglican Church. Mr. Davis was passionate about promoting the value of music in our lives and encouraging the development of musical talent.


The David Davis Memorial Fund provides bursaries to students with serious financial need who are enrolled in a music program at a college, university or institution in Canada, the United States or abroad and have a demonstrated musical ability. You can apply to this fund to support your first year as well as subsequent years of studies.
