A voice coach, or vocal coach, is an instructor who teaches singers how to improve their singing technique and quality.

Typical Job Duties

• Develop a singer’s voice by improving their vocal technique

• Help a singer prepare for a performance

• May give private lessons to singers

• May instruct singers who are rehearsing on stage or during a recording session

• May specialize in areas such as breathing techniques
