Women's Shelter Supervisor Job Description

Women’s shelter supervisors are responsible for overseeing the welfare of victims of domestic violence while they reside in the shelter. 

Typical Job Duties

• Provide counseling and education to victims of domestic violence

• Maintain comprehensive client records

• Ensure timely preparation of administrative documents and reports

• Maintain records of service delivery

• Ensure shelter supplies are at adequate levels

• Oversee and support the activities of staff

• Advocate for victims of domestic violence

• Provide information to clients that serves to improve their quality of life
