AREMA Foundation - Track Scholarship

General criteria for the AREMA Foundation - Track Scholarship includes having an interest in railway engineering, maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0, and being available for interview by the AREMA Scholarship Committee.

Eligibility : 

You must have completed at least one quarter or semester in an accredited four or five year engineering or engineering technology undergraduate degree program. Your program has to be accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (or comparable organization in Canada and Mexico).

 

Essay Required?: 

Yes

 

Essay Details: 

A personal statement, not exceeding 350 words, explaining why you believe you're deserving of a this scholarship (or any other AREMA Foundation Scholarship). You should  indicate areas of railroading which might be of particular interest to you (freight, signals and communication, computers, passenger and transit, bridges and structures, geotechnical, environmental, rail construction, or other).
