Speech writers are often ghost writers who are responsible for speeches given by politicians and other professionals.

Typical Job Duties

• Research relevant information to the subject matter of the speech

• Must take the audience of the speech into consideration when drafting the speech

• Effectively incorporate all relevant topics into the speech

• Confer with client regarding the subject matter of the speech, length of each topic, length of overall speech and other important variables

• Obtain final approval for the speech
