Court Administrator Job Description

Court administrators are responsible for overseeing the coordination of budget and accounting functions, assignments of court appointed attorneys, managing pre-trial services, coordinating jury services and other court functions.

 

 

Court Administrator Job Duties

• Supervise the activities of certain court staff

• Provide direction in establishing and maintaining a written procedural and operational standards manual

• Coordinate the administration of automated information systems

• Work with the judges in preparing the court’s budget

• Monitor expenditures of the court

• Review the handling of fines, fees and forfeitures in order to ensure compliance with budget allocations

• Prepare periodic revenue reports
