Bodyguards are responsible for protecting people from physical threats such as assassination, assault, kidnapping, harassment, stalking, as well as loss of property and information.


Bodyguards are generally employed by high profile public figures like politicians, movie stars, professional athletes, and business leaders.



Typical Duties of the Job

• Escort individuals in order to protect them from bodily injury, kidnapping or invasion of privacy

• Assess security threats and provide necessary security measures

• Perform communication protection

• Liaise with other security agents and relevant personnel

• Perform mob screening and control

• Search areas for possible threats

• Prepare travel routes
