Comedy writers are responsible for writing original scripts for various forms of media, which might include comedy sketches, stand-up comedy routines or radio, television, film or theatrical productions. They might work as freelancers, be employed on a part-time or contractual basis, or may be hired as full time employees within an organization or production company.
