Indigenous People's Human Rights Coordinator Job Description

Indigenous People's Human Rights Coordinators are responsible for helping to shape the policy development and campaign strategies of their humanitarian organization as they relate to Indigenous People's human rights. Indigenous People's Human Rights Coordinators are also responsible for researching or coordinating the research of human rights violations of Indigenous Peoples.  

 

 

Indigenous People's Human Rights Coordinator Job Duties

  • Conduct or coordinate the research and analysis of human rights violations as they pertain to Indigenous Peoples
  • Provide expert campaign advice to senior management
  • Investigate allegations of human rights abuse
  • Must prioritize work under extremely tight deadlines
  • Liaise with the leaders of Indigenous communities
  • Confer with team members relating to research and campaign strategies
