Historical site administrators are responsible for overseeing the conservation, maintenance, management and operation of historical sites.

 

 

Typical Job Duties

• Design, create, distribute and analyze visitor feedback surveys

• Respond to inquiries from the general public and researchers

• Organize and oversee construction and renovation work

• Hire out venue for special events and film shoots

• Write interpretive materials

• Prepare or oversee the preparation of marketing materials

• Liaise with external agencies such as those that provide funding

• Develop and organize outreach activities in the local community
